Qualifications – OB / GYN Physician Requirements Active and unrestricted Physician license (North Carolina preferred)

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in OB / GYN jobs

Clean NPDB and malpractice history (required for temporary privileges)

ACLS certification

Additional specialty certifications as required

Ability to obtain temporary privileges (credentialing timeframe : 30-60 days; temps available if qualified)

Responsibilities – OB / GYN Locum Tenens Physician Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for low and high-risk pregnancies

Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I / Screening and Level II / Targeted)

Manage routine and complicated deliveries : vaginal, low forceps, c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs (preferred)

Perform amniocentesis and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Conduct surgical gynecology procedures (open, laparoscopic, operative / major)

Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring (NST / CST / FSE)

Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure high-quality patient care during staffing challenges
