Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist with RDCS or RCS credentials and a minimum of 2 years' recent echocardiography experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position located in a noninvasive cardiology department providing echocardiogram studies
  • Work schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts, usually 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • Adult patient population
  • Uses Epic for charting; prior Epic experience preferred
  • Thirteen-week contract assignment
  • Must be able to perform complete and high-quality echocardiogram studies
  • Expected to maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary
  • Flu vaccination required during flu season, with no medical or religious exemptions accepted
  • Dress code details not specified; scrubs are typically required in this setting
  • Parking may incur additional costs at some locations
  • Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from central Boston for standard travel rate eligibility

  • Current RDCS or RCS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years current experience as a registered echocardiography technologist
  • Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in echocardiography required
  • Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection required
  • CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross accepted) required
  • Excellent technical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • License required if applicable
