The System Offices is one of several system members within the Texas A&M University System representing one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a network of 12 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies, and the RELLIS Campus. The Texas A&M University System mission is to provide education, conduct research, commercialize technology, offer training, and deliver services for the people of Texas and beyond.
The System Offices, within the Texas A&M University System, provides an outstanding benefits package including, but not limited to : competitive health benefits; paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; a defined benefit retirement plan with 8.25% employer contribution through Teachers Retirement System of Texas (TRS); The Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, under general direction, plans and implements a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy for the Texas A&M University System, including Texas A&M-RELLIS. This role promotes the advancement of the System by enhancing name recognition and public perception through strategic marketing channels and both internal and external communications. The Executive Director collaborates with officials across the System to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies and alignment with strategic goals.
In essence, the Executive Director works closely with marketing professionals from universities and agencies throughout the System to identify potential companies and government entities interested in collaborating with scientists and professionals from The Texas A&M University System. The 3,000+ acre site already is home to several System entities and initiatives, but there is still a lot of room for growth. Additionally, the Executive Director will have the opportunity to work with professionals at the System's 12 regional campuses to develop new marketing projects.
Identify critical opportunities in marketing and communications and assist in the development of strategic initiatives.
