CPAC Lead Stage Technician - PAT II" Hrly / Int POOL at California State University, Long Beach.
The Lead Stage Technician is responsible for the theatrical and stage equipment and stage use during events at the Carpenter Center, under the general supervision of the Production Manager.
Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of methods and problems of stage and set design and construction; knowledge of stage equipment and its operation; knowledge of lighting (including intelligent systems), sound, counterweight, rigging and other stage equipment; working knowledge of sound design and live mixing. Ability to construct and supervise construction of stage sets; ability to improvise stage property, sound and other effects; ability to operate and supervise stage equipment; ability to instruct, train and supervise technical staff.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies.
Education and Experience
Equivalent to 24 semester units of related college coursework and two years of related professional or technical experience required.

Compensation
$23.75 to $42.97 per hour.
Time Base
Hourly / intermittent on-call temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
