Job Description Event Coordinator

Location :   New Orleans, LA

Overview :

Singnala We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of events, from corporate meetings to social gatherings. As our Event Coordinator, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that every detail is addressed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute a variety of events from conception to completion.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their event goals and requirements.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial tracking.
  • Research, select, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
  • Create detailed event timelines and ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly on the day.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
