American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a home health position requiring at least two years of experience and active Massachusetts licensure.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Home health setting serving patients in their residences throughout the South RegionCaseload includes patients of all ages, from birth to over 100 years oldInterdisciplinary team environment with ongoing collaboration among providersUses Epic charting system for all documentationDay shifts from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm with weekend rotation every six weeksConduct age-appropriate speech therapy evaluations reflecting patient history and perform relevant tests and measuresDevelop, reassess, and modify treatment and discharge plans based on patient needs and examination findingsMaintain current and accurate documentation in accordance with agency standards and regulatory guidelinesOrient and supervise Home Health aides per agency and state requirementsCollaborate closely with patients, families, and other allied health professionalsManage patient caseload per agency, state, and professional regulationsNo local candidates accepted within 60 miles of Boston; those within this radius will be compensated at a lower rateRTO (requests for time off) must be provided at the time of considerationDress code and appearance should meet professional standards as required by the agencyParking may incur additional costs in certain locations\n \n Requirements\n
Active and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license through the Massachusetts Board of Registration (MA conditional licenses not accepted)At least two years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or home health as a Speech TherapistProficient in computer skills, including the ability to learn new software applicationsAHA-issued certifications where applicableStrong verbal, written, and electronic communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsProof of influenza and COVID-19 vaccination with no exemptions permittedLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
