Role : SAP Business Analyst
Duration : 6 months Contract
Location : Ft Worth, TX
Key Responsibilities :
- SAP Manufacturing Expertise :
Analyze, design, and implement SAP solutions within PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), and QM (Quality Management) modules.
Help understand SAP-related issues in manufacturing, including production orders, BOMs, routings, and inventory management.Support SAP initiatives and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing workflows.Implementation Support & Liaison Role :Attend meetings to stay aligned on SAP implementation progress.
Gain a deep understanding of the current implementation status and roadmap.Ask critical questions to clarify processes, timelines, and system configurations.Translate SAP processes and terminology into understandable concepts for Client's stakeholders who may not be SAP-savvy.Serve as a liaison between technical teams (internal and external) and business units to ensure clear communication and alignment.Process Improvement & Documentation :Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define business processes.
Develop and maintain documentation for business processes, configurations, and training materials.Lead or support SAP projects related to manufacturing, including system enhancements, data migration, and process automation.Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective use of SAP systems.Qualifications :
7+ years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst, with a focus on manufacturing modules.Deep understanding of SAP PP, MM, and QM modulesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.Experience in discrete manufacturing environments, preferably in oil & gas or industrial equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills :
Familiarity with SAP integration to MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP, Agile).
