Overview

Location : Grand Rapids, MI - Remote Flexibility

Position : Senior Scrum Master

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are executed effectively, on time, and with high value to the customer. This role requires a strong Agile mindset combined with practical project management experience.

As a Scrum Master III, you will facilitate daily stand-ups, manage sprint planning and retrospectives, and drive continuous improvement. You'll also be responsible for traditional project management functions — including scope, schedule, resource planning, and risk management — ensuring end-to-end project accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Track team progress, remove impediments, and ensure delivery commitments are met
• Manage project scope, schedules, resourcing, budgets, and risks
• Collaborate with Product Owners and technical teams to translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Support testing efforts and maintain a focus on quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Promote Agile best practices and ensure consistent use across the team
• Act as a servant-leader and mentor to help teams grow in Agile maturity
• Protect the team from outside disruptions and ensure clear, focused execution
