Description : Job Summary :

The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments. This position ensures accurate and timely receipt and shipment of products. It is also responsible for updating inventory records in accordance with company policies and procedures. Prepares corresponding documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments and updates records in the system accordingly. This position will be first shift thru December 31, 2025 for training purposes and then move to second shift.

Essential Functions :

• Ensures receipt and unloading of incoming shipments of materials, supplies, parts, and products.
• Inspect and verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation.
• Counts and track received items, update inventory records, investigates and resolve discrepancies.
• Putaway incoming materials, maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
• Prepares bills of lading and corroborate orders to ascertain quantities, destination and routing.
• Ensures shipping items meet packing standards and requirements and documents finished process using photographs.
• Collaborates with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products, including loading of trucks.
• Uses hand scanners and computer software and systems to record and track shipments and inventory data.
• Operates material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and stack items in the warehouse.
