Job Title : Clerk For Williamson County Department Of Infrastructure
Reporting directly to Senior Office Administrator, responsible for performing clerical duties related to supporting various divisions for the Williamson County Department of infrastructure.
Examples of work performed include :
- Providing customer service to customers and staff via telephone, email, or in person
- Reviewing and processing all utility and septic applications for commercial, residential, and subdivisions
- Performing daily financial transactions such as collecting payments, balancing cash draws, and preparing financial reports for internal and external entities
- Analyzing and reviewing subdivision plats and distributing them to the appropriate engineering staff
- Aiding with account reconciliation and performing quality control of various permitting processes
- Distributing and processing floodplain and certificate of compliance to engineering staff
- Maintaining department records and contracts and overseeing retention and storage of department files
- Creating and reporting various data to state and local agency monthly
- Scheduling and coordinating septic inspections and collaborating with department leadership on availability and timelines
- Serving as department liaison for installers, contractors, department staff, and public regarding permit status, payments, and roadway construction and maintenance contracts concerns
- Assisting with compiling reports to assist with the daily operations of the department
- Reviewing and coordinating public information requests
- Attending all meetings and trainings, as required
- Performing special duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications :
High school diploma and (4) years of general clerical experience including technical application processingPrior experience with permitting distribution, cash handling, and customer serviceProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteLicenses and certifications :
