    Position Summary :

    A research assistant will spend the majority of their time working directly with the Clinical Research Supervisor and the research team on several clinical trials ranging from dermatologic to cosmetic in nature. The position will suit a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized individual who will play a key role in assisting in recording data and ensuring compliance of procedures and protocols. The candidate, working closely with study team members under the direct supervision of a Study Manager, will support other study team members in order to achieve study objectives and corporate goals, including :

    Main Tasks and Job Responsibilities :

  • Develop strong working relationships and maintain effective communication with study team members.
  • Assist with the screening, recruiting and enrollment of research subjects.
  • Perform patient / research participant scheduling.
  • Collect patient / research participant history.
  • Data entry and Management.
  • Coordinate follow-up care and laboratory procedures.
  • Support the collection and review of required essential study documents and reports.
  • Adhere to an IRB approved protocol.
  • Assist in the informed consent process of research subjects.
  • Support the safety of research subjects.
  • Coordinate protocol related research procedures, study visits, and follow-up care.
  • Comply with GCP, Clinic, and Sponsor policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.
  • Schedule subject visits and procedures.
  • Ensure Nextech records are kept in accordance with clinical trial requirements, making edits if necessary .
  • Any other tasks delegated by the Clinical Research Supervisor or Co-Directors.
  • Performance Requirements :

  • Prior experience handling research responsibilities preferred
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Experience with Nextech or other EMR system beneficial
  • Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Good Clinical Practice Certification
  • ADA SPECIFICATIONS

  • Requires ability to speak audibly and listen actively.
  • Requires ability to use computers, telephones, and other office equipment.
  • Requires ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • May require occasional bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • May require periodic travel.
