High-Volume Level II Trauma Center | 65,000 Annual Visits | 3-Month Assignment

Opportunity Overview : A busy Level II Trauma Center in Independence, Missouri is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for an immediate locum assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for EM-trained providers who thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment with strong APP and physician coverage.

Position Details : Start Date : ASAP

Duration : 3 Months

Shift Structure :

60 hours / day of physician coverage (10-hour shifts)

58 hours / day of APP coverage (MonFri)

48 hours / day of APP coverage (SatSun)

Annual Volume : 65,000 ED visits

Facility : 42-bed Emergency Department

Trauma Level : II

Rapid Care Unit : Open 24 / 7

Requirements :

Board Certified / Board Eligible ABEM or AOBEM

Emergency Medicine Residency Trained Required

ATLS, ACLS, and PALS Must be active at submission

Active Missouri License or ability to obtain

Experience in busy, high-acuity ER environments Required
