Director of Accounting

Therap Services, the national leader in online electronic health records and documentation for people with developmental disabilities is seeking an individual to fill the position of Director of Accounting in the Torrington, CT office. The Director of Accounting is a full-time on-site position and will manage the accounting department, overseeing all day-to-day operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within QuickBooks, and preparing comprehensive financial statements for external audit purposes.

Primary Responsibilities :

Audit Preparation and Liaison :

• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, providing all necessary documentation, explanations, and support for the annual audit.
• Prepare detailed audit schedules and reconciliations to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit process.
• Address auditor inquiries and work collaboratively to resolve any discrepancies.
• Ensure all financial records and processes are audit-ready at all times.
