Fabrication Project Manager – Alpharetta, GA
We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Project Manager to oversee all inventory and manufacturing activities at a leading provider of industrial equipment solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring production goals are met on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with inventory and resource management, while also coordinating engineering deliverables and project schedules.
Responsibilities
Maintain proper levels of U.S. stock components
Set and adjust stock levels and economic order quantitiesCoordinate container shipments and logistics with manufacturing partnersOrder components through ERP systemsConduct physical inventory countsPerform site visits for inventory intake and quality reviewManufacturing Oversight :Monitor manufacturing schedules and ensure project deadlines are met
Open and modify manufacturing drawings from engineer-generated 3D modelsCollaborate with Project Managers to prepare BOMs and packing listsUphold manufacturing standards and regulatory complianceTrack costs and ensure adherence to project budgetsConduct site visits to inspect and test equipmentLead regular manufacturing coordination meetingsQualifications
5+ years of experience managing manufacturing and inventory operationsProficiency in CAD (Inventor preferred; other platforms acceptable)Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsDemonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skillsMust be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holderAdditional Information
