What you’ll achieve

As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will :

Responsible for IHV Software / Driver / FW management for assigned projects

Able to develop tools for factory usage.

Prepare, review and evaluate software specifications for products and systems

Working with external, cross-functional, and internal teams (including systems and test engineers and product support) to deliver end-to-end solutions

Essential Requirements

Good knowledge of programming languages; operating systems; firmware; BIOS; device drivers; databases; system, network, operating system, and application administration; embedded software / firmware; tools and utilities

Ability to code / debug and guide others to code / debug flexible, scalable and complex programs, using either written or verbal design specifications

Experience with multiple programming languages, databases, operating systems, tools and hardware platforms

Ability to learn new tools, languages and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience

Knowledgeable in Windows security features across x86 / Arm Based SoC

Desirable Requirements

6 to 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree

Minimum of 6 years’ Python programming experience, with additional knowledge in security and TPM

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $170k - $220k.
