We are looking to hire a Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing team. If you love fast paced, ever changing world challenges, HTH is the right place for you to grow your career.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Experience in financial accounting, generating monthly and year-end reports, complex reconciliations.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Auditing, and Financial Reporting as it relates to areas of responsibility.
- Ability to plan and organize work, perform under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in using large, complex accounting software packages (i.e., QB, Oracle NetSuite etc.)
- Ensure accuracy of the monthly financial close process and produce monthly financial statements and supporting information.
- Lead and coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and perform detailed budget to-actual account variance analysis throughout the year.
- Administer and supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to ensure timely collections and disbursements of cash.
- Perform and supervise accounting operations including preparation of all general ledger journal entries, and fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare and lead monthly balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of all financial activities.
- Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
- Prepare audit schedules and support for multiple annual external audits.
- Superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work overtime, as needed, to meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Other related duties as required or assigned.
Skills / Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA a plus.Proven experience as a Sr. Accounting Manager or similar role.In-depth knowledge of GAAP principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters to non-experts.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to quickly learn industry-related regulations quickly and utilize information in written report.Must be able to pass a nationwide background check / drug screenJob Type : Full-time
