About The Position

• Previous charge experience
• Experience with patient ratios of 2
• Preferred experience with charting system

Description :

The unit specializes in Labor and Delivery with a focus on high-risk diagnoses.

Diagnoses include but are not limited to pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, placenta accreta, percreta, increta, diabetes, cholestasis, pyelonephritis, PROM, and abruption.

Level 3 NICU services are provided, and deliveries can start at 22 weeks.

Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.

Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be necessary.

Support teams include IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy.

The average daily census ranges from 200 to 230 patients per month.

A minimum of two supervisory references is preferred.

Availability for major holidays is expected, with specific guidelines regarding holiday shifts.

Candidates must complete compliance requirements within the designated timeline.

Travel experience is required for this position.

Preferred experience in community hospital settings.

Ability to assist with high-risk deliveries and manage various procedures including cesarean sections and epidural anesthesia is essential.

Candidates must be willing to work as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
