ResponsibilitiesProvides health care services using ionizing radiation to administer treatment of cancer in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist. Performs therapeutic, diagnostic and quality control procedures. Adheres to policies, procedure and regulation to ensure compliance and patient safety. QualificationsJob Requirements : Licensed by the State of New Mexico as a Radiation Therapist.Graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and AccreditationCompleted a Radiologic or equivalent program from an accredited institutionOne (1) year of related experienceKnowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Radiation Safety proceduresBLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
