HealthFitness has a great opportunity for a part-time Lifeguard in Batavia, OH. Working approximately 10 hours per week. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all the aquatic facility members and guests. Available shifts : Monday - Friday 5 : 45 AM - 10 : 00 AM Monday - Friday 3 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 PM Saturdays & Sundays 7 : 45 AM - 12 : 00 PM

Key Accountabilities

• Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
• Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
• Respond appropriately to any emergency.
• Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training.
• Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.
• Maintain a professional attitude.
• Other duties as needed / assigned.

Minimum Requirements

All lifeguards are required to perform a basic lifeguard skill test consisting of :

Compensation : $14.50 / hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
