Overview

Purpose

The Irrigation Crew Leader is ultimately responsible to ensure high quality irrigation construction projects are completed safely and efficiently by leading and training a team of landscape irrigation laborers.

Responsibilities

Ensure crew members are on time for scheduled hours of work and they clock in and out accurately every day.
Oversee work quality of all crew members.
Communicate progress of work to supervisor daily.
In collaboration with the Project Manager, plan jobs and source materials in advance.
Manage and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
Monitor project progress and performance and implement necessary changes to ensure project success.
Address personnel issues within the crew.
Address quality issues with crew members and supervisor.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

Proven experience of quality work and knowledge in landscape irrigation system installations.

Excellent working knowledge of equipment used in the industry.

Experience overseeing crews.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Good understanding of hydraulics to determine proper flow and pipe sizing.

Able to interact professionally with customers, team members, and others at all times.

Good communication skills. (Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required)

Base Salary : Based upon experience and skill set.

Medical Insurance : Eligible for Medical, Dental and Vision (cost-share) after 90 days.

Life Insurance : Voluntary plans after 90 days.

Miscellaneous : Provided by ACER (work phone).
