job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPrepare treatment rooms for dental procedures and ensure all equipment is sterilized and organized Assist the dentist with various dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and root canals Take and develop X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning Perform basic dental procedures, including fluoride treatments and dental impressions Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for oral health products Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed Schedule appointments and follow up with patients as necessary Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean and sterile work environment Completion of a dental assistant training program preferred Current dental assistant certification preferred Knowledge of dental procedures and practices Experience with dental software and digital radiography systems preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
