Position Overview :

A facility in Duluth, Georgia is seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses, maintaining a sterile and safe environment while supporting high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities :

Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures and ensure all instruments and equipment are ready.

Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by passing instruments and supplies.

Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures.

Handle and label specimens properly.

Monitor and restock surgical supplies as needed.

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of experience – Required

BLS (AHA) – Required

ACLS – Preferred

Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA) – Required

Experience with Cerner – Preferred
