Traffic Signal Laborer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our crew.

Job Type : Full-Time +, Non-Exempt

Essential Functions & Responsibilities :

  • Working Outside on Construction Sites
  • Digging, Trenching, Setting Pull Boxes
  • Pulling Wire and Cable
  • Installing PVC and Galvanized Pipe
  • Aerial work performed out of a Bucket Truck
  • Maintenance of Traffic Equipment, Signs and Traffic Cones
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Having a CDL is necessary for the Operation of Company Vehicles and Trailering Heavy Construction Equipment.

  • Ability to work in a bucket or platform truck / device
  • Able to operate various equipment in order to install signal items (Bucket Truck, Digger Derrick / Boom Trk etc.)
  • Outdoor job sites with exposure to varying weather

    May involve early mornings, overtime, or weekend shifts

    Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion

    Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Pre-Screen

  • Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and / or MVR check.
  • License & Certifications :

  • Valid Driver's license required.
  • CDL required
  • Travel Requirements :

    Must be willing to travel within the State of Florida as needed.

    Physical Requirements :

  • RARE  (less than 10%) : Sitting, Kneeling, Crawling, Color Vision, Climbing Stairs
  • OCCASIONAL  (up to 33%) : Stooping, Squatting, Climbing On / Off Truck, Climbing Ladders, Pushing, Reading, Lifting to 50 lbs.
  • FREQUENT  (up to 66%) : Carrying, Pulling, Balancing, body-twisting, Hearing / Speech Range, Lifting, lifting to 10 lbs., Manual Dexterity, Speaking Clearly, Walking
  • CONTINUOUS  (up to 100%) : Standing, Sense of Touch, Gripping, Seeing, Reaching, range-of-motion, Depth Perception, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., Climbing
