Youth Opportunity is a nationally recognized leader in residential and behavioral health treatment for at-risk youth. In Evart, Michigan, we operate two specialized trauma-informed programsRiver Oak Youth Center and Osceola Youth Centerproviding structured, therapeutic care for youth in need of stabilization and growth.
River Oak Youth Center serves girls ages 12 to 17 in a residential setting focused on mental health support. Osceola Youth Center supports boys ages 10 to 17 who require behavioral stabilization. Both centers offer individualized care that blends clinical therapy, educational instruction, expressive arts, social skills training, and life skills development.
Youth typically remain in care for 6 to 9 months, participating in individual, family, and group therapy; restorative justice; victim-impact awareness; and pre-vocational preparation. Programming is delivered within small group living units to ensure a safe, supportive environment that promotes healing, strengthens family engagement, and prepares youth for successful reintegration into the community.
