Description

The Legal Assistant will provide critical support to attorneys, paralegals, and departmental leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the Foreclosure Department. This role requires a proactive individual with strong administrative skills, a sharp attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys and paralegals with file preparation, legal documentation, and case management
• Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence and legal filings for accuracy and clarity
• Perform administrative tasks including answering phones, managing emails, updating case files, and data entry
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with client-specific requirements, legal deadlines, and regulatory procedures
• Navigate various legal software systems and web-based platforms used by the Foreclosure team
