Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Manager I, this position is responsible for assisting with the administration and resolution of operational and management problems related to Applicant Services Unit (ASU), its processes, systems, and projects. This role provides recommendations based on system analysis and monitors databases to ensure systems are operational. It also conducts research and analysis related to state and national laws, rules, and regulations that impact the dissemination of criminal justice information. The position must meet and maintain NCIC / FCIC certification, as required, and is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of data housed within the department databases.

Background
FDLE requires an extensive background process for all recommended applicants. Preference will be given to current FDLE members who have satisfactorily completed at least six months of the probationary period for their current position.
