Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school; foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates
  • Current medical license in the U.S., D.C., or Puerto Rico
  • Eligibility for board certification
  • At least one year of approved graduate medical internship
  • Training in pulmonary medicine
  • Age between 21 and 42 (waivers possible)
  • U.S. citizenship
