Responsibilities Work in a Med / Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 7 : 30 Required to work some weekends in addition to weekdays Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed Care for adult med / surg telemetry patient population Uses Epic EMR; experience with Epic is required Responsibilities include IV starts, administering medications, patient monitoring, lab draws, and patient education Must promptly complete required fingerprinting for Ohio credentialing Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers Requested time off (RTO) must be included with the initial application Requirements Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Tele RN experience BCLS and IV certification required Demonstrated skills in IV start, labs, medication administration, monitoring, and patient education Epic EMR experience required Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Two professional references required, one from management or a charge RN Former employees eligible if not employed by the facility within the past 6 months Current employees of Ohio State University hospitals are not eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-612859.
