1) Working on engine components

a) Changing engine belts

d) Changing flywheel

e) Changing water pump

f) Changing starter

g) Changing injection pump

h) Changing alternator

i) Changing all engine associated sensors

j) Changing exhaust

k) Changing engine idler

l) Prime fuel system

m) Change motor mounts

n) Change fuel lines

2) Working on compressor components

a) Changing compressor heads

b) Removing compressor if necessary

c) Changing compressor seals

d) Adding oil to compressor

e) Changing compressor pistons

f) Changing ETV valve

g) Changing high pressure sensor

h) Changing compressor bushings

i) Change compressor mounts

3) Working on refrigeration lines

a) Leak check system

b) Replace copper lines

c) Solder new lines

d) Vacuum system down

e) Adding freon

f) Changing 3-way valves

g) Changing drier

h) Changing pan heater tube

i) Removing evaporator

j) Changing expansion valve

k) Changing all refrigeration associated sensors

l) Power wash condenser

4) Working on electrical system

a) Testing electrical components

i) Using a multi meter to check electrical current

b) Checking fuse panel

c) Repairing broken or rubbed through wires

d) Testing and changing battery

e) Changing battery cables

f) Running new wires when damage is significant

g) Check relay board

5) PPE

a) Wear safety toe boots

b) Wear safety glasses

c) Wear flame retardant uniforms when soldering

d) Wear safety glasses rated for soldering when soldering

e) Wear disposable gloves when handling hazardous chemicals

6) Fill out work orders

a) Document parts used on jobs

b) Clock in and out of jobs to keep record of time used

7) Clean workspace

a) Clean work area between jobs

b) Put tools away after use

c) Return shop tools to designated area after use

d) Use catch cans to reduce spills

e) Apply oil dry to any spill made

8) Occasional jobs

a) Change rollup door locks

b) Change rollup door hinges or rollers

c) Change tires

d) Change brakes

e) Spot your own trailers

9) 90-day pms

a) Check belts and tighten if needed

b) Check oil level

c) Check coolant level

d) Run unit to ensure proper cooling

10) Annual refer pm

a) Change oil

b) Change oil filter

c) Change fuel filter

d) Change air cleaner

e) Check belts

f) Run unit to ensure proper cooling

g) Run unit through pre-trip check

h) Run unit through defrost

• 5 day work week with some Saturdays (10 hour days)
• Second shift (Monday - Friday 1 : 00PM Start time)
• Overtime after 40 hours
