3 : 00PM - 11 : 00PM Weekdays and 7 : 00AM - 3 : 00PM or 3 : 00PM - 11 : 00PM on Weekends

SUMMARY :

Performs all functions of counselor practice as outlined by NYS OASAS. Focus includes the development and implementation of individualized patient treatment plan with emphasis on counseling and guidance of recovery process.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• 15% Works collaborative with medical team to develop treatment planning strategies.
• 10% Responsible for making appropriate referrals and discharge planning of patients.
• 40% Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.25% Participate in daily group counseling efforts of the unit.10% Responsible for acting as the primary Individual Counselor for patients in their recovery process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

PAY RANGE : $22.00 - $28.25

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
