American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of PET / CT experience and strong patient-centered skills.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Hospital setting with responsibilities rotating between General Nuclear Medicine and PET / CT imagingDay shift schedule : 5x8 hour shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PMExpected to perform routine Nuclear Medicine studies such as bone, gastric, hepatobiliary, and renal scans, as well as general FDG oncology, NET, PSMA, neurology, and cardiac PET / CT imagingUses Siemens cameras, including Symbia, Intevo SPECT / CT, and Biograph MCT Flow PET / CTFloat within the hospital and to affiliated hospitals as neededOn-call required : weekday call from 8 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM, weekend call shifts spanning Saturday 6 : 00 AM to Monday 6 : 00 AMTechnologists perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine and PET / CT imaging with direct patient care responsibilitiesCandidates will receive annual and onboarding training modules tailored by specialtyReturn staff policy requires a 90-day separation before returning as a travelerLevel 1 trauma experience is required in most unitsVaccine and testing requirements may apply per facility policyDocumentation of certifications and required references must be provided at time of consideration\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in PET / CTBLS certification requiredCurrent Kentucky or compact state license required, if applicableMust provide a reference from a charge nurse or supervisorStrong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approachExperience with Siemens nuclear medicine equipment is preferredNo local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted\n Benefits\n
