Physician Assistant

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT SITE OF SERVICE :

• William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) – Fort Bliss, TX
• Full Time POSITION QUALIFICATION / REQUIREMENTS :
• Education : Possess, at minimum, a bachelor's degree.
• Accreditation : Be a graduate of a PA training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the PA or a previously recognized accrediting body.
• Certification : Possess a current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), or its successor.
• DEA : Possess a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration certificate.
• NPI : Possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Cardiac Certifications : Must have the following hands-on certification through the American Heart Association : Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience : Possess a minimum of one year of experience within the last two years working as a full-time PA.
• Licensure : Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in any one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S.
• Virgin Islands.
• U.S.

SPECIFIC TASKS :

Proper pre-planning and data entry will help facilitate a timely throughput. o    Mobilization :

If a health issue is identified that requires further evaluation, the patient is seen in Case Management where a file is opened, and appointments are made with the appropriate clinic. o    Demobilization :

The individual then proceeds through the following stations :

If health issues are identified, a consult is placed, and the individual is seen by a case manager who opens a file and schedules an appointment with the appropriate clinic. o    Other Services :
