Senior Director of Commercial Operations

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Commercial Operations - Gas Power Generation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead commercial activities for gas-fired assets, including PPAs and merchant sales

Develop and implement market strategies to optimize plant revenue across ERCOT and PJM

Build and lead a high-performance commercial team while fostering a collaborative culture

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in commercial operations or energy trading in the natural gas or power generation sectors

Strong track record in negotiating and closing PPAs and tolling agreements

In-depth knowledge of gas power plant operations and dispatch economics

Experience in ERCOT and / or PJM markets is preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
