Service Leader

Overview

Chipotle is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. The role involves maintaining a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. Service Leaders are on their feet while clocked in, and when not busy, help with other tasks as needed.

The Opportunity

The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. They maintain a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. The responsibilities require being on the floor during shifts and assisting with additional tasks when not busy.

What You'll Do

• Follow Chipotle's policies and procedures and perform principal responsibilities including, but not limited to :
• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Help resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety : hand washing and glove changes, monitor time and temperature on the line, monitor secondary shelf lives, and follow the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train front-of-house Crew
• Assist with Crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and that office supplies are ordered as necessary
• Maintain appropriate quantities of supplies as needed
