Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM

Experience :

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is required from last 18 months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months

Requirements :

100 miles from facility to be submitted.

Experience Requirement : Floating experience does not count toward experience requirement. Correctional facility experience does not count toward experience requirement.

Required Credentials :

Resume : Each employment history entry must include all the following : detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Cannot have an employment gap in the past 4+ months.

Types of Patients on Unit :

Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Cardiac-open heart, balloon, impella, tPA, TPE, core staff will do the specialties; keep small head bleeds, post tpa administration-if intervention-flown to Phoenix; Level 3 trauma- keep here. not necessary to have trauma exp=core staff that MUST HAVE vent, sedation, sepsis, pressors , DKA, cardiac, CHF, respiratory.

of Beds : 42

Nurse-Patient Ratio : 1 / 1 or 1 / 2 (MedSurg ICU)

If no vents / drips 1 / 3.

Special Requests :

Block scheduling can not be guaranteed.

Travel pairs cannot request the same schedule

Shift & Scheduling :

Weekend Requirements : 4 weekend shift days in 4 week period required.

Holiday Requirements : 2 major holidays required. Only require the holiday (not the eve) if Xmas.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays : 01 / 01 / 2025, 11 / 27 / 2025, 12 / 25 / 2025. Number of holidays allowed off : 1. Start assignment restriction : 14 days

1 reference from last 3 years (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge / Lead reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission
