JOB SUMMARY
SEEL is seeking a dedicated
Systems Administrator
to oversee and
maintain
the company's IT infrastructure. In this role, you will
be responsible for
ensuring the reliable delivery of IT systems and providing responsive, high-quality support to SEEL staff and users. This position is key to
maintaining
smooth daily operations and supporting our technology-driven environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
System & Network Oversight
Oversee maintenance of all SEEL desktop, laptop, server, and networking systems
Manage updates, configurations, and integrations for the Microsoft 365 (O365) platform
Provide initial and ongoing support for network security practices
Install, configure, and test new software and hardware
Install software patches, updates, and system upgrades
Install and
maintain
new, replacement, or upgraded hardware
IT Support & User Services
Act as the primary point of contact for infrastructure-related issues
Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, and work order system
Provide technical training and support to end users
Resolve desktop and laptop issues, including occasional off-hours support
Follow standard operational procedures for system support
Document, track, and
monitor
the performance of client systems
Procurement & Vendor Relations
Perform purchasing duties for IT infrastructure, following SEEL's procurement procedures
Provide input during the annual IT budgeting process
Act as the secondary contact for external IT vendors and service providers
Develop specifications, research products, and recommend
new technology
acquisitions
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
Associate's degree
with
3+ years of relevant IT experience
Experience working in
multi-user, multi-site desktop / laptop environments
Minimum
2 years of experience
with LAN / WAN networks, including
Cisco
and
FortiGate
firewalls, routers, and switches
Experience working with
highly available
and redundant network environments
Technical Skills
Strong working knowledge of
Windows OS versions
and
Microsoft Office Suites
(2000, 2003, 2007)
Proficient in
Microsoft 365
and
Exchange Online
Skilled in supporting
local and network printers
Familiarity with
remote access tools
such as VPN, dial-up, and cellular connections
Experience with
client support
, including software installations and troubleshooting
Comfortable working with
server and networking equipment
, including SAN, VLANs, switches, routers,
Wi-Fi
, and Exchange servers
Experience applying
OS patches
, upgrades, and configuring / administering IT services
Capable of
installing, rebuilding, and configuring servers
, storage, and peripherals to meet operational needs
Conduct daily
system and security monitoring
to ensure system integrity and
identify
potential intrusions
Perform daily
backup operations
, including media handling, off-site rotation, and recovery procedures
