As a Security Guard in Sugar Land, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to create a secure environment for residents and guests. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or access.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the proper authorities and Allied Universal management.
  • Maintain a professional presence at all times while interacting with residents, guests, and / or other individuals within the community.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports promptly and accurately as per Allied Universal procedures.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as needed to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing assistance as directed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
