About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Must hold a valid nursing license

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred

Must-Have :

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.

Experience with Neonates / Infants and Adults.

Knowledge of Labor (Vaginal), C Sections, and Multiple births.

Experience handling Post Partum Hemorrhage and Pregnancy induced hypertension.

Ability to work in a team-based unit.

Description :

We are seeking motivated and experienced Labor and Delivery registered nurses.

The unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 1 to 1 : 2.

There are 16 beds in the Labor and Delivery unit with an average daily census of 15.

Experienced nurses will handle a variety of procedures including Labor and Delivery, Cesarean Sections, and Triage of obstetrical patients.

The position requires proficiency in using Epic for charting and includes participation in call rotations.

Holidays may be required based on the assignment period.

Full compliance with facility requirements is necessary to start on time.

Candidates will need to demonstrate specific skills including administration of blood products, high-risk delivery assistance, and use of fetal monitoring equipment.
