Job Summary

We are seeking EDUCATORS to join our team! As a certified educator intern on staff, you will be creating programs and lesson plans, teaching students at a variety of levels, and facilitating a strong learning environment. You will also hold office hours to tutor students in need, help with coursework advisement, and uphold all state and federal teaching regulations. The ideal candidate is looking for a future lead teacher position and has a background in education and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create lesson plans and curriculum for a variety of classrooms
• Tutor students to deepen their understanding of both basic and complex mathematics
• Advise students on their career paths and learning objectives, including assisting with course planning
• Sponsor school clubs or events as needed
• Maintain a safe educational environment where every student has the opportunity to learn

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters of Education or related field
• Previous experience teaching / student teaching desired
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong multitasking ability, including juggling multiple classloads
• Familiarity with online learning and computer programs, including Blackboard, GSuite, and Microsoft Office suite
