• Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile and motivated

• Attorney
• with experience in
• both criminal defense and personal injury law
• . The ideal candidate will be passionate about protecting clients’ rights in criminal proceedings while also effectively handling injury claims. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
• Key Responsibilities
• Represent clients in criminal proceedings (state and / or federal) and personal injury claims (car accidents, workplace injuries, premises liability, etc.)
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs
• Conduct client consultations, evaluate cases, and advise on legal options
• Develop strategies through legal research and case investigation
• Negotiate plea agreements and settlements with opposing counsel and insurers
• Represent clients at depositions, mediations, hearings, pre-trials, and trials
• Maintain strong client communication and manage expectations
• Collaborate with paralegals, assistants, and fellow attorneys to ensure effective case management
• Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing in Missouri and Kansas (IL, TX a plus)
• 3+ years of experience (criminal law and / or personal injury strongly preferred)
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage a high-volume and diverse caseload independently

Pay : $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
