I am currently partnered with a long standing and leading exterior glazing specialist in Tampa.

They are entering a growth period and due to this a drafter to create detailed production drawings and assist in the coordination of of CNC equipment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Associate's degree or technical certification in CNC programming, machining, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in CNC programming and machine operation.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and using CAD / CAM software.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling.
  • Solid math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
  • Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

  • You will partner with the Director of Product Design to drive creations from concept to fabrication.
  • Your primary responsibility will be transforming designs into precise, production-ready outputs by creating detailed engineering drawings and documentation using Autodesk Inventor and other CAD platforms.
  • Furthermore, you will program toolpaths using Vetric Vcarve and help coordinate the programming of CNC production equipment while actively collaborating with both the design and production teams.
