Description : Position Summary
Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to provide efficient operation throughout the raw material warehouse. Responsible for maintaining accurate physical inventory as well as computer records of receiving, put-away, and picking-related transactions. Perform basic mathematical computations and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, written or oral.

Essential Functions

Receiving
Physically receives materials and accurately enters the appropriate data for each item into AlpHa’s ERP system.Labels, sorts, and processes materials prior to placement on warehouse shelves or bin locations.In the event material from a supplier arrives at AlpHa damaged, defective or an amount delivered does not match the packing list, documents the issue and then contacts the Buyer, for them to contact the Supplier to notify them of the issue.Put-Away & Inventory Management
Pull raw material based on ERP generated work orders or MRO requests provided by Operations or R&D to support production in a timely manner.Keeps open communication with the Warehouse Manager as it relates to product placement and movement within the warehouse.Participates in on going daily cycle counting based on internal standards, helps to prepare and help count at yearend physical inventory. When inventory is not correct, work with Warehouse Manager to find a root cause of the inventory discrepancy.Picking & Delivery
Uses internal customer work orders and pick tickets, along with the ERP system to locate and pick components for internal consumption, recording each transaction in the ERP system through keying in the transactions, or using a bar code scanner; effective time management skills are required.Safely delivers / transports material throughout the facility based on internal customer work orders and pick tickets, per established service level agreements.Other Functions
Must have experience with standard warehouse equipment such as basic hand tools, forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse components.Must follow and adhere to OSHA Safety Guidelines while driving forklifts and other manually operated machinery in and around the facility.Supports a 5-S culture by gladly completing housekeeping duties including, but not limited to, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and picking up trash to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse, and ensuring all electronics are connected to the correct power source so they will be ready for the next day.Duties may change and team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements & Attendance

Required Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or GED PreferredForklift experience - 2 years required, certification a plusMust be able to routinely lift 50 poundsProficient in Microsoft Excel and able to communicate via Microsoft OutlookMust be able to work in fast-paced environmentsPrevious warehouse or logistics experience requiredMust be conversant in English for safe and effective performance of the jobMust be eligible to work in the U.S.Must undergo a background check, in accordance with local law and regulations.
