job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProcess US and Canadian payroll, with accuracy and timeliness Apply discretion in decision-making for maintaining compliance as well as a high level of customer service, and ensure accurate payroll processing Approach process and system with a continuous improvement mindset Complete and balance all required payroll reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness Complete accurately Form 941, W2, T4, and other relevant tax documentation for all subsidiaries Maintain data compliantly and securely Ensure accurate process documentation inclusive of manuals and SOP’s Provide guidance and support to employees timely, accurately and professionally Serve as secondary processor for US and Canadian non-exempt payrolls Collaborate with management and other departments across the organization for top notch customer service Minimum of three years of general office / accounting experience; payroll experience preferred Associate’s / Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience Intermediate understanding of accounting / mathematical procedures is required Strong strategic thinking and a firm attention to detail are a must Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking forms Special projects may be given to help support management metrics Knowledge of IBM (CICS & IMS) and MDM systems Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
