Salesforce Engineer / Release Manager - REMOTE Contract
We are hiring a Salesforce Engineer / Release Manager for one of our consulting clients. This is a 40 hour / week remote contract (working EST hours) to start ASAP for at least 3 months. Compensation is $60-70 / h W2 or $70-80 / h C2C.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, construction, and deployment of Salesforce platform processes, ensuring seamless and efficient operations as a trusted advisor.
- Utilize your expertise to recommend and implement cutting-edge Salesforce technologies, supporting the growth and scaling of our operational practice and driving continuous automation across our service offerings.
- Spearhead and execute large-scale operational transformations, overseeing the delivery of sophisticated Salesforce infrastructure solutions from concept to technical design, development, and deployment.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and internal business units to define operational requirements, ensuring all Salesforce releases and deliveries are efficient, timely, and meet the highest quality standards.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Salesforce operations focused on system stability, performance, and scalability.
- Manage all aspects of Salesforce release management, including planning, scheduling, coordination, risk assessment, and deployment of new features and updates.
- Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams to establish release schedules, milestones, and ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Monitor Salesforce system performance, conduct routine audits, and provide actionable recommendations for process improvements.
- Coordinate with Salesforce administrators, developers, and stakeholders to prioritize, track, and resolve operational issues and enhancement requests.
- Enforce best practices in release management, including version control, change management, and deployment methodologies.
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) processes within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Manage sandbox environments, ensuring proper refreshes and alignment with production for testing and development purposes.
- Document and maintain operational procedures, release notes, and configuration changes.
- Ensure compliance with data security policies and maintain the integrity of Salesforce data.
Qualifications
Salesforce certifications such as Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce operations, administration, or development, with a strong focus on release management.Proven experience managing complex Salesforce implementations and releases for clients or organizations.Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, platform limitations, and technical constraints.Familiarity with Salesforce deployment tools such as Change Sets, Salesforce DX, Ant Migration Tool, Copado, or similar.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.Analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise and collaborate at all levels of the organization.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in a DevOps culture is a plus.Reach out ASAP to learn more.
