We are seeking P art-time Student Assistant - Fitness Attendant who will be responsible for oversight of the Fitness Center areas in the Recreation Center. Individuals holding this position is responsible for providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all users of the Fitness Center. This person is responsible for providing quality customer service by assisting users.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned :

• Work all scheduled shifts, with strict attention to being on time.
• Conduct ID, waiver, and membership check of all participants.
• Clean and "wipe down" all equipment and floor on a regular basis as scheduled with documentation.
• Follow procedures for emergency situations.
• Inform students and members of current Fitness Center rules and requirements.
• Maintain supply levels of towels and cleaners in the Fitness Center.
• Record completed tasks in cleaning ledger.
• Record work hours in the employee ledger.
• Follow opening and closing procedures as written.
• Provide a friendly, upbeat and customer service environment at all times.
• Attend all mandatory staff meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Hours / Work Schedule : Part-time, not to exceed 19 hours per week. Scheduled total hours of 13hours / week. Time Availability Schedule : Tuesday : 2pm to 7pm Wednesday : 4pm to 7pm Thursday : 2pm to 7pm. The position is not a regularly scheduled position, time availability may change from semester to semester.
