Yoke Group, LLC is a rapidly growing freight carrier and brokerage specializing in the

live entertainment space. Our warehouses in Nashville and Las Vegas along with our

Miami, Nashville, Las Vegas, and Philadelphia o?ces help us successfully coordinate

over 10,000 annual shipments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Yoke is looking for a high-energy and motivated operations representative to

orchestrate management of our vendor networks and compliance functions. The ideal

candidate is someone who is fastidious and organized by nature while being able to

keep up with a fast-paced industry / o?ce environment and multitask across multiple

departments, stakeholders, and 3rd parties. The Operations Compliance Coordinator

will be responsible for onboarding and vetting both carriers and vendors while ensuring

they are up to Yoke's standards, and managing all related databases. This role reports

directly to the Head of Operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Yoke Transport's full carrier network with respect to minimum standards

and qualifications as well as updating carrier profiles as they evolve.

  • Assist in quickly onboarding carriers into our network so our Operations Team is

    • able to contract them out on our shipments.

  • Act as oversight and a "barrier to entry," e?ectively filter out any subpar,

    • suspect, and potentially fraudulent carriers and vendors in order to reduce

  • Yoke's operational risk exposure.
  • Look for ways and opportunities for Yoke it grow and improve its carrier

    • network.

  • Actively monitor carrier compliance for any fraud-related issues.
  • Manage daily high call and email volume.
  • Proactively scrub data to keep all records up-to-date.
  • Run credit on new customer set-ups to present business case to C-Level for

    • credit approval.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A personal desire for organization and thoroughness, both verbal and written,

    • with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proactive and healthy work ethic where looking ahead into what will be needed

    • and a willingness to stay "logged on" until the job is done is pivotal.

  • Confidence and experience in multitasking in a professional environment.

    • Experience with problem solving and decision-making on the fly.

  • A solid comfort level talking on the phone, communicating over text, email, and

    • jumping back and forth between all three.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a job-specific related

    • field.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft

    • O?ce.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry as well as experience

    • with transportation and freight brokerage is a plus.

  • Sales or customer service experience is highly desirable.
  • This is an in-person role with 3-4 days weekly required at either our Philadelphia o?ce.
  • This role will require 4-5 working weekends annually.
