Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its practice at Lake Mary Hospital, the newest addition to the Orlando Health family of hospitals.

Hospital opened in January 2025

Annual projected deliveries of 1,000 with an adc in the newborn nursery of 6-7

Level II NICU projected adc of 5-6 by year end, with 2,000 deliveries and 24 / 7 coverage

Team of neonatologists, NNPs and Pediatric Hospitalist

NNP schedule of 12 and 24-hour shifts

Supported by the Orlando Health flagship NICU located at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, a 142-bed, Level-IV NICU

124-bed hospital with a key focus on women’s health, including labor and delivery services and a future neonatal intensive care unit

Qualifications

Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP

Minimum of a master’s degree
