Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Adult PACU position requiring an active OK or compact license and at least one year of PACU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Adult PACU unit within a hospital setting
  • Day shifts with three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Care for post-anesthesia adult patients with a range of health problems from simple to complex
  • Perform responsibilities including patient monitoring, medication administration, IV infusion, and support during procedures
  • Interact with patients and families during care and discharge planning
  • Required to document patient responses and interventions promptly
  • 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible

  • Active RN license in Oklahoma or compact state (eNLC)
  • At least one year of recent PACU or recovery nursing experience
  • Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited program required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Good computer, communication, and organizational skills
