The Controller plays a critical role as a business partner to the General Manager, providing leadership, strategic insight, and fostering talent development within the organization. This position oversees financial operations across multiple lines of business, including aggregate quarries, asphalt plants, and road construction, ensuring robust financial performance, operational efficiency, and adherence to company policies.

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Direct and manage accounting staff, ensuring work is properly planned, assigned, and executed in alignment with company objectives. Provide coaching and professional development to direct reports, guiding them in technical and leadership growth.Hold team members accountable for performance, offering constructive feedback, rewards, and corrective actions as neededAddressing complaints and resolving problems in a timely mannerQualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA / CPA a plusExperience : Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and control processesManagement experience preferredTechnical Skills : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with Hyperion experienced is preferredAnalytical Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skillsCommunication : Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
