Semper Home Loans is seeking a proactive, detail-driven Loan Officer Assistant to support our team at the East Providence, RI branch. In this role, you'll be an integral part of the mortgage process—ensuring clients, loan officers, and partners experience a smooth, responsive, and professional journey from application to closing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist Loan Officers with day-to-day loan pipeline management from initial application to closing.
• Collect, organize, and review borrower documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate directly with borrowers, processors, underwriters, and real estate professionals to maintain momentum on files.
• Conduct initial reviews of applications and credit reports to ensure files meet required lending guidelines.
• Input and update loan information in Encompass and other loan origination platforms.
• Maintain strict compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to borrower questions and needs promptly and professionally.
